About me

Hi, my name is Harald Oestreicher and I'm a designer and 2D/3D professional from Germany. The purpose of this website is to show my work and to publish some rather complicated how-to's or things which took long to discover. I share my findings because I think that education and knowledge is essential for all artists.
I converted my old portfolio to this blog-like homepage in late 2008. Updates are coming whenever I find an interesting topic which isn't covered in sufficient detail on the net elsewhere.

After graduating with a diploma in media design at mdh Munich I have been working at BMW (Internal Design Communications) and as freelancer on various projects. Since 2006 I'm Art (Production) Director and Lead Artist at Chimera Entertainment, managing the studio's graphics department and administrating our Hardware/Software inventory.
