About me

Hi, my name is Harald Östreicher, I'm a designer and media professional from Germany. The purpose of this website is to show my work and to publish some rather complicated how-to's or things which took long to discover. I share my findings because I think that education and knowledge is essential for all artists.
I converted my old portfolio to this blog-like homepage in late 2008. Updates are coming whenever I find an interesting topic which isn't covered in sufficient detail on the net elsewhere.

After graduating with a diploma in media design at mdh Munich I have been working at BMW (Internal Design Communications) and as freelancer on various projects. From 2006 to 2010 I was Art Production Manager and Lead Artist at Chimera Entertainment, managing the studio's graphics department and administrating our Hardware/Software inventory. Currently I'm working at the largest regional newspaper, the Augsburger Allgemeine.
